Designing for Medical Homes: User research methods

This semester’s my group (Maria Emerson, Brigit Kang, Priyanka, Wei Zhou, and myself) have been working with Mayo Clinic and Continuum to redesign medical homes. This is delayed blogging about our user research phase back in October.

For user research, we had to devise ways to remotely study patients and medical personnel involved in a patient’s medical journey. Without taking too much time away from each participant, we also were aiming get rich information out of them. We devised short cards, aimed at some overlapping but also different information, for participants.
